PLACING AN ORDER AND PAYMENT
- By completing an online purchase, you are making an offer to purchase the Product at the price set out in the Website.
- Payment must be made at the time of making the purchase. We accept payment on our website, bank transfers or you may use the PayPal facility. You warrant that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to complete payment.
- All purchases placed through this Website are subject to confirmation and acceptance by us. Trinidad and Tobago Fine Cocoa Company may reject your purchase and refund any payment made by you, at any time prior to your receipt of this your order. This might be because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.
- The purchase must be paid in full before you receive your product(s) unless agreed explicitly by Trinidad and Tobago Fine Cocoa Company. All transactions are settled in American Dollars (USD) or Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD). If you are ordering in a different currency your payment will be converted to American Dollars when you complete the transaction. The conversion rate varies from day to day with the current exchange rate. We are not responsible for any currency conversion charges your bank imposes.
- Trinidad and Tobago Fine Cocoa Company reserves the right to limit the quantities of product sold to you in cases of certain products which are highly in demand.
- Non-payment of due invoices, or any other circumstances that indicate that the customer’s net worth situation has considerably deteriorated after the conclusion of the contract shall, at our option, entitle us to declare all our claims immediately due and postpone all our obligations in relation to this customer until our claims have been fully paid or until all contracts not yet fully performed have been rescinded, and to assert damages for the loss ensuing from failure of the contract.

- You undertake that all details you provide to therawchocolatecompany.com for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered.
OUR PRODUCTS
- Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the goods. Your product may vary slightly from those images.
- Although we have made every effort to be as accurate as possible, because our goods are handmade, all sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on our website have a five percent [5%] tolerance.
- The packaging of the product may vary from that shown in images on our website.
DELIVERIES
- The costs delivery will be as displayed to you on our website.
- The period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate but we will deliver them to you as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within five business days after the day on which we accept your order, including weekends but excluding some public holidays including but not limited to Easter Sunday, Easter Monday or Christmas Day. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation.
- If our supply of the goods is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.
- If no one is available at your address to take delivery our delivery provider will contact you informing you of the delivery attempt and it is your responsibility to rearrange a delivery with our drivers.
- If after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery or collect the goods from an agreed location we may charge you for storage costs and any further delivery costs. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or re-arrange delivery or collection we may end the contract.
